Wakefield, MA - Dennis Nolfi, Senior Broker for Peter Elliot LLC, recently completed the disposition of 14 Audubon Road in Wakefield, Massachusetts. Comprised of a 60,873 square feet of office and warehouse space situated on approximately 1.8 acres of land, 14 Audubon Road was acquired by Max Group Corporation and sold for $3,500,000.

Peter Elliot LLC represented the seller, New England Restaurant Company, the owner and operator of Chili's, Bertucci's, and On The Border restaurants, in the transaction. New England Restaurant Company, which had recently purchased the Bertucci's restaurant chain, sold the property, as it was no longer essential to their long-term business plan.

Following the acquisition of Bertucci's, New England Restaurant group moved their operations to 5 Clock Tower Place, in Maynard, Massachusetts, in order to consolidate two existing offices, one at 14 Audubon Road and another in Westborough, into one convenient, centralized location.

Peter Elliot LLC is the exclusive leasing agent for the Westborough property, located at 80A Turnpike Road. According to Nolfi, "Max Corporation's rapid growth required the company to seek out additional space.

The purchase both satisfied the current growth needs of Max Group Corporation and provided a location that was geographically superior to their prior location." Brad Spencer of Grubb and Ellis represented the buyer in the deal.
